თ ა რ გ მ ა ნ ი: აჰა ესერა შემდგომად განსაცდელისა მის მოვიდა ნუგე-შინის-ცემაჲცა, რამეთუ არღარა ეტყჳს, თუ: ივლტოდე, არამედ: „წარვედო ქუეყანად ისრაჱლისა“; და მოიქცეს უცხოებისა მისგან სოფლად თჳსად და მკლველი იგი ყრმათაჲ იხილეს მოკლული. ხოლო მო-რაჲ-ვიდეს სახედ თჳსა, კუალად ნეშტი პოეს პირველთა მათ განსაცდელთაჲ, რამეთუ ძე მძლავრისაჲ მის მეფობდა ჰურიასტანს, ვითარცა ესერა აღმოვიკითხეთ:

But when Herod was dead, behold, an angel of the Lord appeareth in a dream to Joseph in Egypt,20. Saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and go into the land of Israel: for they are dead which sought the young child's life.
