თარგმანი: იხილე, ვითარ ერთითა წარმოთქუმითა არწმუნა ესოდენთა სულთა მხიარულებით აღრჩევაჲ ნათლის-ღებისაჲ, რაჲთა სრულ იქმნეს წინაჲსწარმეტყუელებაჲ ესაიაჲსი, ვითარმედ: "უკუეთუ ელმოდა ერთ დღე დედაკაცსა მუცელ-ქუმულსა და უკუეთუ იშვა ყოველი ნათესავი ერთბამად" (). ხოლო სამობაჲ ესე ათასეულთა ამათ ერთ-გზის ნათელღებულთაჲ გამომსახველ იყო ძალსა წმიდისა სამებისა ერთარსებისა და სამგუამოვნებისასა.

40. And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.41. Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.42.
